Murieston Village Hall is owned by West Lothian Council and run by Murieston Initiative SCIO, a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (Scottish charity no. SC031680) run entirely by volunteers. For ongoing information, follow the hall on Facebook. Room bookings are available for classes, groups, private parties, and other events from 9.00am until 10.00pm seven days per week. To enquire, please complete an enquiry form.
There are three rooms and a kitchen for use within the hall:
Glasgow Room
The Glasgow Room (in the direction of Glasgow) is 11.8 x 7.7 metres in size. The ceiling height is 2.3 m with RSJs at intervals below that, so not suitable for bouncy castles. It can accommodate up to 60 people. There is a serving hatch from the kitchen. It is more suited to adult events and events where food and drink are involved.
Edinburgh Room
The Edinburgh Room (in the direction of Edinburgh) is 11.8 x 7.6 metres in size. The ceiling height is 2.3 m with RSJs at intervals below that, so not suitable for bouncy castles. It can accommodate up to 60 people and has a sink in one corner. It is partly carpeted and more suited to child or fitness activities.
Meeting/Locker Room
The meeting/locker room is a small room suitable for a meeting with up to 6 people around a table. When booking this, be aware that users of other rooms might need to get items out of the lockers.
Kitchen
The kitchen is 4.85 x 3.5 metres in size and has two sinks, a hand-washing sink, a multifunction oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, 2 kettles, crockery and cutlery. There is a serving hatch to the Glasgow Room.

- Murieston Community Garden (maintain Murieston Community Garden next door to the Hall)
- Murieston Community Cafe (Saturday pop-up cafe)
- Murieston Community Cinema (monthly film nights)
- Murieston Robotics Club (chldren’s club)
- Murieston Community Development Trust (plan to run events)
